LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR/TRANSPORT PLANNER - BETWEEN 30 TO 40 HOURS PER WEEK (3PM TO 12 MIDNIGHT) MONDAY TO FRIDAY - SALARY UPTO GBP27,900 (DEPENDING ON HOURS AND EXPERIENCE) - BASED THETFORD AREA
The role provides crucial support to the transport department in the daily planning and execution of GBP44 million worth of outbound and inbound logistics. This encompasses delivery scheduling, detailed shipment planning (carton-level), outbound delivery notes processing, and the management of inbound returns and failed deliveries.
This position operates within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, necessitating the ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks logically and professionally.
We are seeking a candidate with proven traffic management experience in similar environments, logical thinking with independent problem-solving abilities, excellent prioritisation abilities, strong geographical knowledge, and computer literacy including Excel and Outlook with a confident 'can-do' approach.
We are seeking someone who can work between 30-40 hours pw, between the hours of 15:00-00:00 (3pm-12 midnight). Working hours and start times to be agreed and then set.
