This role is hybrid, based in Coventry with some travel within the UK and abroad.

Reporting to the Logistics Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing all elements of ASRS solutions across our UK plant, including equipment specification, RFQ evaluation, detailed design, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.

About Agratas

Agratas, a subsidiary of Tata Sons, designs, develops, and manufactures high-quality, sustainable batteries for mobility and energy sectors. With a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company, our UK headquarters is in the Midlands, and we are building a manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The Team

The Process Engineering team is dynamic, working across electrode, cell assembly, formation, ageing, testing, control, automation, manufacturing systems, digital manufacturing, and logistics engineering. As a relatively new team, you will play a key role in creating processes and building large-scale logistics facilities from the ground up.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in designing, optimizing, installing, and commissioning ASRS systems, ideally within the battery or similar industries.
  • Experience with ASRS Warehouse Control Systems and integration with upper-level systems such as Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proven project management skills to deliver logistics projects on time.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Data analysis skills to derive cost benefits and support business decisions.
What You’ll Get

Our benefits package is competitive and evolving, including private healthcare, a car allowance, a company bonus, enhanced parental leave, and wellbeing support through Yulife. As part of a rapidly growing environment and a subsidiary of Tata Sons, you will have the opportunity to help build the UK’s largest battery manufacturing facility and make a significant impact.
