Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting for a Logistics Assistant (Training/Progression) in Hackney area. You will help with stock checks, arrange transport for food shipments, and support daily stock takes under supervision to develop into a senior role.

The role offers the opportunity to gain extensive training and a clear progression path, with a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 plus a generous holiday scheme and pension. Commutable to Hackney, Tottenham, or Wood Green.

Logistics Assistant (Training/Progression)

£28,000 to £32,000 + Training + Progression to Senior + Generous Holiday Scheme + Pension

Hackney, Tottenham, Wood Green

Are you a Logistics Assistant or similar looking to grow your career inside a company who import food worldwide, who are offering training to support your growth to senior roles?

Established in 1991, this specialist food importer sources premium Greek and Mediterranean products, supplying supermarkets, independent retailers, restaurants, hotels and foodservice operators across the UK. With a strong reputation for quality and authenticity, the business generates an annual turnover of approximately £50M per year.

In this role you will be in charge of checking stock levels, arranging stock management for transport, arranging the transport of the food, and being in control of daily stock takes. You will be working alongside the Logistics Manager who will be mentoring you, ensuring you receive the best training to grow your career.

This role would suit someone who is looking to start their career inside of a food importer, where you will receive full training and development to move into senior roles long term.
