The Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing sales orders, packaging requirements, and transport arrangements to ensure smooth operations in the factory. This role also supports the Group Leader with administrative tasks and helps coordinate packaging for both current and new products.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer sales orders, transport, and dispatch paperwork.

Order and monitor stock of customer-designated packaging.

Keep packaging and quality performance records up to date.

Plan daily shop floor work schedules and adjust production orders as needed.

Handle invoice, subcontract, and finance queries.

Maintain inbound and outbound packaging data, including customer approvals.

Support packaging design and improvements to meet business and customer needs.

Ensure packaging complies with company standards and environmental goals (e.g., reducing cardboard use).

Keep accurate records for daily review by Logistics and Production teams.

Work closely with suppliers, production teams, and other departments to solve issues quickly.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment (5S standards).

Requirements

Education: Basic English and Maths (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).

Experience: At least 1 year in a similar logistics or supply chain role.

Skills:

Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

Good problem-solving and communication abilities.

Team player, but also able to work independently.

Personal Qualities

Self-motivated and reliable.

Flexible and proactive.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to influence others and work well with suppliers and colleagues.

Regularly collaborates with colleagues in Logistics, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
