  • Manage inbound & outbound logistics according to inventory policies.
  • Prepare delivery documentation for shipment.
  • Handle shipping & export documentation for high-value products.
  • Participate in export compliance audits.
  • Clear imports of purchased parts per Customs procedures.
  • Compile reports to streamline processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers, shipping, and project managers.
  • Demonstrate experience with containerised shipping and export documentation.

Location: Larne, Northern Ireland

Fully office based in Larne, 5 days per week

This role would also suit an export & logistics specialist

Salary: £19.50 per hour (Umbrella, FCSA Umbrella Company), £14.50 per hour (Paye)

This role is deemed inside IR35

Duration: Initially 6-12 months, highly likely to extend and be long-term

This is a great opportunity to work for a very ambitious, well-known local Larne-based manufacturer & service organisation with a global footprint. They are looking for a highly analytical Transport Coordinator with experience in freight, shipping, and EU/Worldwide export regulations. Experience with high-value product exports is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing inbound & outbound logistics according to inventory policies and SOF principles
  • Preparing delivery documentation for shipment following customer instructions
  • Handling shipping & export documentation for high-value products within deadlines
  • Participating in export compliance audits
  • Clearing imports of purchased parts and items per Customs procedures
  • Compiling reports to streamline processes
  • Liaising with suppliers, shipping, and project managers on timelines
  • Demonstrating experience with ERP systems and import/export software (SAP or similar)
  • Experience with containerised shipping and export documentation, including Incoterms and EAR
  • IT literacy and good basic Excel skills

Note: Fully office based in Larne, no hybrid option available. The role is initially for 6-12 months but is expected to extend and possibly become a long-term position. The client may consider applicants outside the specified rate band on a case-by-case basis. Interviews are scheduled for an immediate start.
