Logistics Coordinators, Control Tower Team

Join Our Clients Dynamic Control Tower Team!

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our clients Control Tower team as a Logistics Coordinator. This role is perfect for candidates with strong administrative skills and preferably some experience in freight forwarding or management.

Position: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Ashby de la Zouch

Work Pattern: Monday Friday, 08:00 17:00 (8 hours + 1 hour lunch) with flexible start and finish times (+/- 1.5 hours)

Payrate: £12.49 per hour

Expected Start Date:As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise strong administrative skills to support logistics operations.
  • Handle international commerce and transportation terms such as CIPL, HS code, COO, INCOTERMS, AWB, MBL, CSEE, and Notify Party.
  • Manage purchase orders and commercial invoices.
  • Perform basic Excel tasks including formatting, converting to numbers, auto-sum, basic searches (V-Lookup, CTRL+F), pivot tables, sorting, and filtering.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel (basic knowledge tested during the interview).
  • Understanding of international commerce and transportation terms.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in freight forwarding/management is preferred.

Job Details

  • Office-based initially, transitioning to 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH after training and probation.
  • All equipment and training provided.
