Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Compliance Administrator to join an extremely busy Manufacturing Engineering client based in near Kirkbymoorside .

This position has been created due to an increased work load and the client is looking to add some additional support to the logistics team.

This is a temporary role to start as soon as possible – initially for 6 Months.

The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, ideally with exposure to working in an engineering environment however this is not essential. Candidates will work as part of the Logistics compliance team to provide administrative support in relation to the Logistics and compliance operations in the business.

Interested candidates will have strong IT Skills and administrative skills and be confident learning new systems.

Hours - 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday

Role Description

Ensure the import and export logs are maintained.

Review and facilitate approval of freight and payment invoices.
Renewal of annual vendor certs.
Carry out any other operational requests within the department.
Provide holiday cover as required.
Skills & Attributes

Demonstrable experience within an administrative role – experience with logistics / exports would be highly advantageous.
Strong IT Skills
Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure.
Keen eye for detail
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook literate.
Excellent communication skills.
