Logistics Administrator

Location: OX13

Salary: £32,500

Hours: 10:00 - 19:00 (some flexibility may be required)

We are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Administrator to join our busy operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for allocating collections to our drivers, communicating with both drivers and customers, and ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day logistics operation. This is a key role in keeping our freight moving efficiently and our service levels high.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and allocate collections and deliveries to drivers in an effective and timely manner
  • Communicate clearly with drivers throughout the day to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues
  • Be the first point of contact for customer and driver enquiries over the phone
  • Support the daily coordination of logistics and freight operations
  • Monitor schedules, update systems with accurate information, and adapt to changes as they arise
  • Work closely with the wider team to maintain excellent service levels
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience within a freight, transport, or logistics environment is essential
  • Confident in communicating with drivers and building strong working relationships
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Competent using IT systems and logistics software (training provided if needed)
