Job description

Logistics and Supply chain administration, including stock management, purchasing, movement and storage of spirit, casks, dry goods, finished goods and processing this information through our ERP system.

The purpose of the role is to efficiently process and manage all aspects of the administration and logistics around the creation of products for Elixir Distillers. It will involve raising & processing purchase orders through the ERP system (TROPOS), organising transport and logistics around spirit, wood and dry goods, as well as maintain accurate 3rd party stocks ensuring attention to detail.

This role's primary duties and responsibilities are fulfilling all ERP administration and logistics needs across the business, including:

  • Instruct and manage all cask movements across company and third-party locations.
  • Oversee and direct all dry goods movements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support with item creation, maintenance and adjusting on the ERP system as required.
  • Manage all finished goods movements to and from bottling halls.
  • Organise and control import and export of dry goods, ensuring compliance with UK and international regulations.
  • Manage the importation of wood and its distribution to appropriate sites within our set guidelines.
  • Raise purchase orders for dry goods where required and manage supplier delivery timelines.
  • Manage spirit movements within the UK; including third-party and company-owned facilities.
  • Take full responsibility for third-party stock management, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and service levels.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels across all locations through robust systems and controls.
  • Maintain a shared, department-accessible logistics schedule detailing all live and complete movements.
  • Maintain data in systems including Airtable, Confluence and Jira when required.
  • Conduct monthly 3rd party stock audits, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
  • Carry out bi-annual stock audits of all warehouse sites to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Support Distillery sites with admin as required.
  • Assist with production schedule.
  • Cover bottling & production coordinator when on annual leave.
