Overview

Provision of a range of administrative and analytical duties and specific responsibilities (e.g. payroll, invoice passing) in support of the project team.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery Management: Administer deliveries and collections with suppliers; schedule bookings and update the Delivery Management System (DMS).
  • Materials Documentation: Maintain accurate records of Waste Transfer Notes, Hazardous Consignment Notes, and weighbridge tickets related to materials movements for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Materials Tracking: Monitor material flows, reconciling volumes against supplier returns and commercial agreements.
  • Document Control: File and update logistics documents, ensuring all data is current, traceable, and available to the team.
  • Reporting: Produce regular summaries on deliveries, exports, waste streams, and material movements for internal and client reporting.
  • Team Support: Provide up-to-date trackers, logs, and compliance evidence to the logistics and commercial teams.
  • Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth operations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance.
About the role and project

The role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UK's new high speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UK's 10 biggest cities with fast, reliable and frequent high speed services. The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
