Are you ready to play a vital role in keeping essential water services running smoothly? At Anglian Water, our Logistics team is at the heart of ensuring materials are where they need to be – whether it’s for planned development works or urgent repairs. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Integrated Supply Chain, using SAP systems to plan and coordinate the delivery of materials for both clean water and wastewater operations. Your work will directly support critical services across our region, making a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Planning & SAP Management
Use SAP systems to convert customer demands into accurate purchase orders, ensuring correct data entry and efficient fulfilment. Liaise with suppliers, investigate invoice discrepancies, manage warehouse picks, and use software tools (Excel, Power BI) to enact part change overs. Support with SAP S/4HANA data cleansing and system improvements.
Materials in Contact (MIC) Compliance & Support
Act as a gatekeeper for new clean water materials, ensuring they meet regulatory and supplier standards. Manage documentation, maintain accurate SAP records, and monitor stock for MIC compliance. Provide expert advice on material logistics and clean water product suitability.

What does it take to be a Logistics Material Planner?
M365 competent
High level of literacy and numeracy
SAP Warehouse Management System experience
SAP S/4 EWM and ERP experience - desirable
Logistic/Warehouse Operations
Experience of clean water products and MIC regulations – desirable
