Job summary

Green & Fortune Ltd. in London is seeking a Logistics & Compliance Manager for London's iconic London Museum, opening doors on 28 November. You will lead operations from loading bay to back-of-house, embedding safety, compliance and efficient systems to keep services running smoothly.

You will collaborate across chefs, events, finance and facilities, build robust records, audits and training, and act as operational backbone ensuring guest experiences meet the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Hands-on leader who supports the team across shifts.
• Experience managing large event logistics for venues.
• Proficient with compliance platforms and stock/maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day movement of goods, equipment and resources across the venue.
• Ensure food, beverages, AV equipment and furniture are delivered safely and on time.
• Champion food safety and health & safety compliance with audits and due diligence.
• Maintain documentation, maintenance schedules and back-of-house records.
• Collaborate with chefs, events, finance and facilities to provide resources.

Be the Logistics and Compliance Manager at London Museum, one of London's most significant cultural openings. The doors open on 28 November in the heart of historic Smithfield, bringing together thousands of years of London's history through world class events, experiences and hospitality.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and ambitious Logistics & Compliance Manager to lead the operation behind the operation. This is far more than a compliance role. It's an opportunity to create the systems, standards and organisation that keep every service running seamlessly. From loading bay to storage, maintenance, food safety and health & safety compliance, you'll ensure every department has the resources, support and guidance they need to deliver exceptional hospitality. As the operational backbone of the business, you'll combine logistics, compliance and collaboration to keep our people safe, our standards exceptional and our operation moving.

What makes you the Logistics & Compliance Manager?

Operations

Lead from the front, managing the day-to-day movement of goods, equipment and resources across the venue. Working alongside your logistics team, you'll ensure food, beverages, AV equipment, furniture and event materials are delivered safely, efficiently and exactly where they're needed.

Compliance & Safety

Champion the highest standards of food safety, health & safety and compliance, ensuring robust systems, audits and due diligence keep the operation safe, organised and inspection ready.

Systems

Take ownership of compliance platforms, maintenance schedules and operational records, ensuring accurate documentation, planned servicing and continuous improvement across all back-of-house operations.

Collaboration

Work closely with chefs, operations, events, finance, contractors and building management to ensure every department has the support, equipment and resource.

What you’ll bring as Logistics & Compliance Manager?

• Sound knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety and compliance requirements, with the ability to embed best practice across a complex hospitality operation.
• A hands-on approach, leading by example and willing to support your team wherever the operation needs you most.
• Knowledge of large ODC event logistics as well as day to day management of a venue supply and control
• Confident using operational systems and technology, with experience managing compliance platforms, maintenance records and stock or logistics systems.
