Logistics Freight Pricing Analyst - Bucks £25 - 35,000

Fantastic opportunity to join this vibrant organisation as an experienced Logistics / Freight Pricing Analyst to negotiate logistics contracts, freight rates, and customs services.

  1. Customs & Operational Compliance - Understanding of country and local customs requirements. Work in line with compliance processes to manage risk around the business.
  2. Procurement - Reviewing carrier performance and maintaining rates.
  3. Supplier Liaison - Receive and process customer requests in a timely manner. Build relationships with customers to gain trust and become their preferred supplier.
  4. Planning - Work load and time management skills to plan and prioritize customer requests with or better than SLA's.
  5. Instructing hauliers - Communicate requirements to arrange new ad hoc shipments.
  6. Negotiation - Negotiate with hauliers, customs agents, and 3PLs to develop competitive routes ensuring optimal supply chain solutions.
Person Specification
  • Full understanding and experience working with Air, Sea, and Road freight hauliers.
  • Experience in negotiating logistics contracts, freight rates, and customs services.
  • Skilled in providing a comprehensive supply chain approach for internal and external clients.

After an initial training period, a hybrid working arrangement will be available.

Salary DoE up to £35,000 + Bonus
