Main Activities:
LOD Production
- Lead the production of the ITB LOD for the yearly task order.
- Update and quality check the LOD on a monthly basis.
- Liaise with L4 and L3 schedulers to ensure the LOD is aligned with the L3 and L4 schedules.
LOD Change Management
- Manage changes to the LOD in line with the project change management system.
- Following management approval, accept changes to the LOD in the L4 scheduling tool (PALADIN).
- Ensure reasons for changes to the LOD are well recorded in the L4 scheduling tool (PALADIN).
LOD Reporting
- Extract data from PALADIN and the electronic documentation tool (EasyDoc) and use excel macros to manipulate the data into the format required for reporting.
- Provide regular and ad hoc performance reports and KPIs to ITB management and central project controls.
LOD – Document Management Interface
- Manage the update of the LOD and the creation of placeholders in the client’s electronic documentation tool (Teamcentre).
- Liaise closely with the EDVUK Document Manager to forecast peak workloads and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
LOD – Training
- Train engineering staff on LOD best practices process and tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience of document management and MS Office
- Educated to A Level Standard or above.
- MS Office and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Previous experience of Scheduling software such as, MS Project, Primavera or PALADIN if possible.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced engineering project environment.
- Knowledge of electronic planning systems and other electronic tools and platforms (EDMS)
