Locum Veterinary Surgeon – Swansea

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, independent, award-winning small animal practice in the stunning coastal city of Swansea. This RCVS accredited practice is celebrated for its clinical excellence, progressive approach to healthcare, and strong team camaraderie—making it an exceptional place for a locum vet looking for a fulfilling and supportive placement.

The successful locum will be welcomed into a warm and experienced team, including 4 qualified veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses, a nursing assistant, and 4 dedicated receptionists. With a focus on delivering outstanding patient care, the role involves a rewarding mix of consultations and routine surgery, with the added benefit of working with state-of-the-art equipment such as in-house biochemistry, haematology, endocrinology labs, and a companion laser therapy unit.

This role offers excellent support and case continuity, with the team placing real emphasis on collaboration and patient follow-up. Locums are truly valued here, and you'll be fully integrated into the team from day one—contributing to a practice that also proudly trains future veterinary nurses and champions clinical development.

Saturdays are sole-charge 8-1pm

Mon - Fri is 8am - 6pm

No OOH
