We are working with a friendly practice that provides excellent nursing care, who are looking for a Locum Vet Nurse for its practice near Torquay.

The nursing team participates in all areas of the practice, and we are looking for a hard-working Locum Veterinary Nurse.

• Start ASAP
• Ongoing booking
• 8 hours per day
• One night per week 16:00 - 08:00 (Lone working looking after inpatients only)
• Occasional Weekend Cover
• The role will include setting up specialist theatres, getting kits ready, calculating & administering medications, fluid calculations, placing catheters, learning advanced anaesthesia techniques (including the use of neuromuscular blockade) and implementing them, use of ventilators (full training given), use of multiparameter monitors, endoscope maintenance (with training) along with general nursing duties
