Experienced locum Veterinary Nurse required 40hrs per week to start as soon as possible working mainly at the hospital with possible shifts at our branches if required. This is to be discussed and swaps in house could be made if travel between is not possible.
Weekend work will be expected as well as ideally picking up the odd 13 hour night shift if required.
The practice is a very busy 24-hour hospital and nurses would be expected to be able to cope with the pace. The shifts will include all aspects of veterinary nursing and it is essential that nurses are able to comfortably and competently monitor anaesthetics, manage inpatients on fluid therapy and other duties involved in intensive nursing of medical cases. The shifts are 8 hours with an hour for lunch varying between 6am - 3pm and 3pm-10pm. Later shifts are slightly less hours with a shorter lunch break.
