Job summary

The Orthopaedic Department operates across two sites, with your primary location for on-call and trauma surgery being University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. Elective care takes place at St Cross Hospital, Rugby and the University Hospital site in Coventry.

The post holder will join a team of consultants who undertake complex and revision arthroplasty procedures, with responsibilities including trauma care, on‑call work, teaching, and involvement in patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Strong commitment to teaching, research and service development.

Responsibilities

• Fracture clinics, trauma lists and on‑call work for a broad mix of trauma.
• Contribute to the department's teaching, management and QIPS activities.

Education

FRCS (Tr&Orth) accreditation

Specialist Register or within six months of CCT
