The Rotational Specialty doctor post aims to provide the trust with additional medical support to a team at short notice, for example in cases of illness or changes to trainee rotations, while reducing reliance on agency doctors. The post holder is expected to be flexible and able to be moved to a new service area with reasonable short notice.
This position offers a wide range of adult Psychiatry experience. Placements may vary in length but typically last for several months. The post is fixed-term for several years, offering job security. Services will be geographically limited to reduce travel time.
Each post will be supervised by a consultant Psychiatrist and include at least one session of SPA time for CPD activities, supervision, teaching, and governance participation. Weekly lunchtime CPD events hosted by the Trust and Cambridge University are available for attendance.
