Job summary

Sheldon Phillips Ltd is supporting Nottingham City Council to recruit an experienced Social Worker for the Children with Disabilities team. This locum role offers flexible hours with a requirement to work in the office two days per week in Nottingham.

You will manage a caseload with section 47/17 enquiries, collaborate with multi-agency partners, prepare court reports, and ensure the voice of the child is central to practice.

Qualifications

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)

Responsibilities

• Completing Section 47s and Section 17 enquiries
• Collaborating with OT, CAMHS, paediatric and SEND partners
• Undertake Section 7 and Section 37 reports and attend Court
• Long-term engagement with families, ensuring the voice of the child is heard
• Prepare conference reports and attend conferences
• Lead all Child Protection work from the initial conference onwards
