Locum Social Services Occupational Therapist (Band 6) - High Pay, Flexible Contract in North London!

Are you a Band 6 Social Services Assessor looking for a rewarding locum role in North London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Social Services Assessor (Band 6)

Location: North London

Duration: Ongoing Locum Contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £30.00-£31.00 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Social Services Assessor and play a key role in supporting adults in the community to live more independently. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform holistic assessments of clients within a community setting
  2. Identify and provide appropriate support interventions
  3. Recommend and arrange equipment or home adaptations to improve quality of life
  4. Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless, person-centred care experience
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid HCPC registration
  2. Proven experience in adult social care or community-based assessment
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  5. A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable adults

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum position requires availability from Monday to Friday with some potential for hybrid working depending on the service's needs. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service demand.
