Job summary

Locum SHO positions are available across NHS hospitals in the UK with Medecho LTD. Candidates must hold a valid GMC licence, be eligible to work in the UK, and have NHS SHO-level experience.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, and readiness to commence work as soon as possible. We offer placements across multiple NHS Trusts, with dedicated recruitment and compliance support, and both long-term and short-term contracts.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous NHS experience at SHO level or above.
• Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to start ASAP.
• ALS certification (desirable, depending on specialty).
• Enhanced DBS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within the relevant specialty.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call duties where required.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with NHS standards.
