Are you an experienced Nurse with a passion for supporting children with complex needs? We have an exciting part-time locum role available in , Surrey, working within a dedicated School Nursing Team. Enjoy a rewarding role with no weekends or nights – perfect for work-life balance!

Job Title: School Nurse
Location: , Surrey
Schedule: 5 Days a Week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £31 per hour (via Umbrella)

Join a specialist team supporting children with complex health needs in an educational setting. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting health assessments & maintaining care plans
Managing emergency situations on-site
Providing training and guidance to school staff
Attending child protection conferences and completing essential reports

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

NMC Registration (Adult, Child, or Learning Disability Nurse)
Experience:

At least 2 years post-qualification experience working with children

Experience with children with severe/profound learning disabilities and complex needs

Background in multi-disciplinary teams

Familiarity with clinical governance procedures

Previous experience in a special school or community setting (preferred)

Experience with continence assessments & advising both disabled and non-disabled children
