Are you a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in London? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

Job Title: Primary Care Pharmacy Technician (Band 6)

Location: London - GP Practice (on site)

Duration: 6-month contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute break)

Start Date: May

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £18.00 - £26.00 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting medicines optimisation across a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will:

1. Conduct medication reviews and medicines reconciliation
2. Support repeat prescribing processes and manage prescription queries
3. Provide patient-facing advice on medication use
4. Liaise closely with GPs, nurses and other staff to ensure safe and effective prescribing
5. Assist with audits and data collection for quality improvement

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
2. Previous experience working in GP Practices or Primary Care
3. Completion of CPPE (preferred)
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. The ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
6. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time on-site role in London, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The contract is for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
