Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

Location: Buckinghamshire

Duration: 9-month maternity cover

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with a 30-minute break

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting a GP surgery through an essential maternity cover period. In this role, you will:

Handle repeat prescription processing

Run blood test follow-ups and medication reviews ahead of pharmacist full reviews

Carry out audits and patient searches

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support service delivery

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven experience working in a GP surgery

Strong understanding of primary care workflows

SystmOne experience (essential)

Excellent attention to detail and patient focus

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with a 30-minute break. The contract lasts for 9 months with the possibility of extension depending on service needs.
