Locum Practice Nurse Role in Stevenage

This practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering primary healthcare services, promoting health education, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct patient assessments and administer treatments under the guidance of medical practitioners.
  2. Assist with chronic disease management and preventive care programs.
  3. Administer vaccinations and immunizations.
  4. Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other minor procedures.
  5. Conduct health screenings and provide health education to patients.
  6. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  1. Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  2. Proven experience as a Practice Nurse or in a similar clinical setting.
  3. Strong clinical and communication skills.
