Job summary

Venn Group is recruiting a Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer for an interim role in the East Midlands. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with remote working, but planning committee attendance is essential.

Initial 3+ months with a possibility of extension; rate up to £60 per hour Umbrella. Key duties include providing planning law advice, drafting and negotiating S106, S38 and S278 agreements, and advising on a broad range of planning and highways matters while attending monthly

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent).
• Previous Local Government Planning and Highways Law experience.
• Ability to work independently whilst supporting a collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning law advice to officers and Members.
• Draft and negotiate S106, S38 and S278 agreements.
• Advise on a broad range of planning and highways law matters.
