Venn Group's Public Sector Legal team is recruiting a Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer for the East Midlands on an interim basis. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of planning law and highways law applicable to local government.
• Ability to provide clear legal advice and opinions to officers and Members.
• Experience drafting and negotiating planning agreements such as S106, S38, S278.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning law advice to officers and Members.
• Draft and negotiate S106, S38 and S278 Agreements.
• Advise on a broad range of planning and highways law matters.
• Attend monthly planning committees and prepare reports.
• Deliver practical legal guidance to support the Council's Planning Service.
