Job Description:

Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer – Part Time – Remote Working – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella

Venn Group is seeking a proficient Planning and Highways Lawyer to join a respected Council on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to contribute their expertise to significant projects in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice on planning, large-scale development, and highways matters.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on legal agreements, including s.106 and s.278 agreements.
  • Collaborating with council officers to support planning and highways projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Start Date: January 2024
  • Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with a strong potential for extension.
  • Working Arrangements: Part Time, 20-25 hours a week. Fully remote working available.
