Job Description:

Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer – Part Time – Remote Working – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella

Venn Group is seeking a proficient Planning and Highways Lawyer to join a respected Council on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to contribute their expertise to significant projects in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing expert legal advice on planning, large-scale development, and highways matters.
  2. Drafting, negotiating, and advising on legal agreements, including s.106 and s.278 agreements.
  3. Collaborating with council officers to support planning and highways projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  4. Start Date: January 2024
  5. Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with a strong potential for extension.
  6. Working Arrangements: Part Time, 20-25 hours a week. Fully remote working available.
