Join a prestigious University teaching Hospitals Trust in Liverpool as part of a dedicated Anaesthetic department. Applications are invited for the above post at a large University teaching Hospitals Trust in Liverpool. The applicant will join an Anaesthetic department providing services at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospitals.
The Pain Medicine service provides inpatient services across hospital sites and local hospices. Outpatient services are located at Broadgreen Hospital within a new purpose-built Pain Medicine unit, which includes outpatient facilities, a dedicated theatre suite, and recovery for pain management procedures. The applicant will join a dedicated team reviewing 5,000 inpatients and 5,500 outpatients annually. There is also an opportunity to work with the Liverpool Refractory Angina Centre, offering a multidisciplinary approach to managing angina pain.
The post includes commitments to elective and emergency anaesthetic services, and the successful applicant will be expected to participate in the on-call rota. Detailed duties are outlined in the attached job description and person specification.
