Responsibilities

• Deliver dedicated specialist clinics per week for complex regional gastroenterology presentations and provide inpatient support and advice.
• Diagnose and manage common gastrointestinal conditions including IBD, severe constipation, gastro-oesophageal reflux, food allergies, coeliac disease, and eosinophilic oesophagitis.
• Perform or supervise GI investigations (e.g., pH studies, and diagnostic upper/lower endoscopies depending on certified competencies).
• Establish shared-care networks with our tertiary centres at St George’s Hospital.
• Liaison and MDT working with the paediatric gastroenterology team at St George’s Hospital for complex tertiary referral.
