Role Responsibilities:

Provide skilled assistance in scrub or anaesthetics roles during surgical procedures.

Ensure all theatre protocols and infection control measures are followed meticulously.

Work effectively alongside surgeons, ODPs, anaesthetists, and other theatre team members.

Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies required for specific procedures.

Monitor patient safety and well-being throughout the perioperative phase.

Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.

Requirements:

NMC-registered nurse (Band 5 or 6).

Minimum 6–12 months recent experience in a scrub or anaesthetics role.

Up-to-date theatre competencies and knowledge of perioperative care.

Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.

Flexibility with shift patterns including weekdays and weekends.

Immediate or upcoming availability highly desirable.
