Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting fixed-term locum consultants in Medical Oncology with a special interest in Breast, Gynaecology, Colorectal, Upper GI and Acute Oncology.

The posts total 10 PAs and are supported by visiting Oncology consultants from a linked Trust. You will contribute to MDTs, develop protocols and actively participate in audits and professional development within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory Occupational Health Clearance.
• Clinical experience in Medical Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide Breast, Gynaecology, Colorectal, Upper GI and Acute Oncology services totalling 10PAs.
• Work in site specific local MDTs and support nurse-led Acute Oncology service.
• Consult with and advise other clinical colleagues within the Trust and Primary Care.
• Develop treatment protocols and guidelines with colleagues.
• Participate in departmental and multidisciplinary audits.
• Attend regular clinical meetings and postgraduate activities.
• Support revalidation principles and participate in the Trust Performance and Annual review scheme.
