Job summary

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Nurse Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Goole. This role is designed for an NP confident in managing minor illness presentations, supporting urgent on-the-day demand and contributing to the smooth running of daily clinical activity.

You will deliver autonomous NP-led clinics, provide efficient triage support and help maintain continuity of care for patients. Regular or ad-hoc sessions, morning and afternoon clinics, long-term opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
