Job description

Locum Nurse Practitioner – UCC Work – Sunderland

Dream Medical is currently working with a number of Urgent Care Centres in and around Sunderland that currently require Locum Nurse Practitioner cover. We are currently working with 3 Urgent Care Centres based in Sunderland and receive monthly rotas from the Urgent Care Centre covering 7 days a week and are able to offer adhoc and ongoing part/full time sessions. Shift patterns are 10:00 - 22:00 and cover 7 days a week 365 days a year.

The role will involve face-to-face assessments where you will take basic observations on minor illnesses and injuries whilst prescribing the right medication.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be:

  1. Nurse Practitioner Qualification
  2. Ability to Prescribe Under PGD's
  3. Work Autonomously
  4. See patients of all ages – birth upwards
  5. UCC/WIC/A&E Experience
  6. Minor Illness & Injury experience
