Locum Ready is seeking Locum Nurse Practitioners to work in Berwick-upon-Tweed across community healthcare and GP-based services. The role offers fully flexible local sessions and opportunities for ad-hoc or ongoing bookings, allowing NPs to deliver autonomous clinics and support day-to-day clinical activity.

You will run NP-led clinics, handle minor illness presentations, assist with triage, and perform routine nursing tasks within supportive clinical teams while ensuring safe and efficient

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community health
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Ability to work confidently in varied clinical settings
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous NP clinics across community and GP environments
• Managing acute presentations and routine assessments
• Supporting urgent care demand with telephone triage
• Prescribing safely within scope (if qualified)
