Locums First is seeking Locum Nurse Practitioners in Alnwick to provide flexible sessional coverage across primary care services. You will run NP-led clinics, manage minor illnesses, perform triage, and carry out general clinical duties with clear procedures to ensure safe practice.

Ideal candidates are Registered Nurse Practitioners with independent prescribing preferred, and experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical background.
• Independent prescribing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Running independent NP clinics across primary care services.
• Managing minor illness presentations and routine patient assessments.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing within scope (if qualified).
• Handling clinical actions such as results and medication reviews.
• Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes.
