Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Neurologist to join the Neurology team at the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH). You will provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient neurological care, supporting specialist clinics and teaching the next generation of clinicians.

We welcome applicants with a general neurology background and a subspecialty interest (epilepsy preferred).

Qualifications

• Essential: Entry on the Specialist Register in Neurology (or CCT expected within 6 months from interview).
• Desirable: Higher Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient neurological care at MMUH.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurse specialists, neurophysiology and stroke teams.
• Teach undergraduates and trainees; participate in audit, clinical governance and research.
