Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust seeks a Consultant Neurologist to join the MMUH-based neurology team. The role supports general neurology with a subspecialty focus in epilepsy, in a single-site acute care model.

You will work with a supportive team, contribute to teaching, audit, governance, and research, and participate in on-call rotas while developing high-quality outpatient and inpatient services.

Qualifications

• General neurology background required.
• Subspecialty interest and expertise in epilepsy preferred.
• Teaching, audit and research involvement expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient neurological care at MMUH.
• Contribute to development of general and specialist neurology services.
• Participate in neurology/stroke on-call rota, teaching and governance activities.
