Ministry of Defence - Practice Nurse (Band 5)
Fixed contract
Dartmouth

Dream Medical are working with a Medical base within the Ministry of Defence in recruiting a locum Practice Nurse (Band 5) for their base located in Dartmouth.

The Ministry of Defence is looking for a Full time (37.5hrs) Practice Nurse to start ASAP for a fixed 1 month contract.

Many duties and responsibilities:
  1. Competent in Immunisation, Venepuncture, Audiology.
  2. Patient Group Directive (PGDs) in a related Community Health discipline or portfolio evidence of equivalent experience.
Desirable:
  1. Experience in relevant areas, e.g. Occupational Health Nursing (OHN)
  2. Clinical supervision
  3. Supporting Learning and Assessment in Practice (or equivalent)
  4. Travel Medicine
  5. Cervical Cytology
  6. Asthma Diploma
  7. Chronic Disease management - diabetes and asthma, etc.
  8. Competence in audiometry, smoking cessation, ear syringing and vaccination.
  9. Well Woman and family planning clinics.
