MOD Occupational Health Nurse

Position: Full time locum
Location: Ipswich

Dream Medical is working with an RAF base in Ipswich and has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse for a full-time locum. Your role will be to implement, maintain, and participate in health surveillance. The undertaking of clinical procedures such as Spirometry, Audiometry, Visual Acuity testing, Blood Pressure monitoring, and routine urinalysis is expected. You will be required to provide information, advice, and assistance regarding the Medical Force Protection programme and to collect and record Occupational Health data, assist with the identification of trends in sickness and absence, and contribute to the generation of reports as well as pre-employment checks.

Requirements:
  1. Registered Nurse with NMC registration and Pin with no restrictions to practice
  2. Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing
Desirable:
  1. Experience in undertaking fitness for work assessments and functional capacity assessments
  2. Experience in delivering the full remit of Health Surveillance
  3. Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience
