Are you a compassionate and experienced Midwife (Band 6) looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in Devon? We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional maternity care and support to expectant mothers and their families. Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and newborns.
  2. Offer guidance and emotional support to expectant mothers and families.
  3. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, identifying any concerns early.
  4. Conduct deliveries and assist in managing complications if they arise.
  5. Work collaboratively with obstetricians, healthcare assistants, and neonatal teams.
  6. Educate mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with NHS policies.
What You Need to Succeed
  1. Registered Midwife (NMC Registered) with a valid PIN.
  2. Proven experience in antenatal, labour, and postnatal care (essential).
  3. Strong clinical knowledge and ability to respond to emergencies confidently.
  4. Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
