Locum Junior Childcare Lawyer

£35 - £40 per hour

Hybrid Working

Full or Part Time

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a junior Childcare Lawyer to join a well-respected local authority based in the North West on a locum basis for 3 - 6 months.

As Childcare Solicitor, you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, as well as pre-proceeding matters. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Handling a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children's matters
  • Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
  • Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements

Office attendance is mandatory but those offering flexibility around attendance will be considered.

The role can offer flexible working arrangements and although full-time availability is desirable, candidates offering part-time availability will also be considered.

Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds if relevant public childcare experience is demonstrated.
