Description

The Locum Plot Sales Conveyancer will be:

  • Managing a full caseload of new build plot sales from instruction to completion
  • Drafting and issuing contracts, transfer documents, and title packs
  • Handling enquiries, dealing with requisitions, and resolving title issues
  • Liaising directly with sales, technical, and site teams to progress matters
  • Managing completions, post-completion processes, and filing with relevant bodies
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and KPIs
  • Monitoring file progression, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Mitigating legal risk and maintaining audit-ready casework
Profile

The Locum Plot Sales Conveyancer should be:

  • A solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive, or experienced equivalent
  • Fully confident handling new build plot sales without supervision
  • Technically proficient in land law, leasehold/freehold issues, SDLT, and registrations
  • Skilled in using conveyancing systems and document automation tools
  • An excellent communicator, organised and solution-oriented
