Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in Manningtree. You will support routine clinical duties and assist with observations in GP clinic environments, enabling smooth patient flow across the service.

This role requires prior HCA experience in primary care or NHS settings and an Enhanced DBS. Flexible weekday, evening and weekend sessions are available, with ad hoc or regular work patterns to suit your

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience in primary care or NHS settings.
• Confident performing routine clinical observations.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine clinical observations including BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting treatment room procedures such as wound care and dressings
• Performing ECGs and basic health checks
• Assisting with phlebotomy if trained
• Updating digital patient records in line with service protocols
• Supporting clinicians with general duties where needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
