Job summary

JustOT is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Hand Therapist for a locum role in Surrey. You will work within a specialist Hand Therapy team, managing your own patient caseload and providing assessment and treatment for a range of hand and wrist conditions.

The role involves designing bespoke splints, wound management, and rehabilitation planning, with opportunities to work across acute and rheumatology pathways. 28 hours per week, locum contract.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is mandatory.
• Experience working in a Hand Therapy setting is required.
• Ability to manage a varied hands caseload and rehab planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage own patient caseload in a specialist Hand Therapy setting.
• Assess and treat a broad range of hand and wrist pathologies.
• Design and provide bespoke Splints to support recovery.
• Manage wounds and remove stitches where appropriate.
• Deliver personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with the wider hand therapy team to ensure high-quality care.
