Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specializing in Haematology to join a busy West Yorkshire laboratory on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role requires core hours with 24/7 locum flexibility and an immediate start.

You will contribute to routine and specialist haemology testing, work within a supportive team, and ensure quality standards with HCPC registered professionals in a NHS-inspired setting.

Qualifications

• Experience on Sysmex analysers.
• Experience with Grifols.
• NHS or NHSBT experience preferred.
• Locum willing to work 24/7 shifts.
• HCPC registration.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Haematology within a UK clinical laboratory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• NHS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Haematology testing support in a busy laboratory.
• Assist with analyser maintenance and quality control workflows.

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: 247 shifts

Hourly Rate: £25-27

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our client’s team in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience on sysmex analysers
• Need experience in Grifols.
• Would consider experience with NHS or NHSBT.
• Still looking for another locum that can work 24/7 shifts
• HCPC registration
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Haematology within a UK clinical laboratory
