Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited in London is seeking a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology & Biochemistry to join a busy laboratory team. The role is full-time, operates across multiple shifts (07:30–16:00, 08:00–16:30, 10:00–18:30 and 12:30–21:00), and offers a competitive hourly rate.

You will perform routine Haematology and Biochemistry duties, work within a multidisciplinary team, follow SOPs, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a high-quality, well-established laboratory

Qualifications

• Recent experience in Chemistry and Haematology lab essential.
• Strong communication and team liaison skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently within a MDT.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology & Biochemistry to join our client’s team in London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working shifts, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will perform routine Haematology and Biochemistry duties across various shifts: 07:30 to 16:00, 08:00 to 16:30, 10:00 to 18:30 and 12:30 to 21:00

Qualifications and Experience

Skills/Experience required:

• Recent experience in Chemistry and Haematology lab essential
• Good communication skills including handling telephone enquiries and liaising within the team
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow SOPs
• Ability to troubleshoot issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
