Job summary

Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a locum consultant to deliver outpatient and inpatient myeloma care, with consultative work at Aintree and involvement in trials. The role focuses on plasma cell disorders, autologous stem cell transplant, and plasma cell immunotherapy.

You will join a team delivering high-quality, sustainable haemato-oncology services across both sites, including an on-call commitment and potential teaching/innovation opportunities.

Qualifications

• FRCPath or equivalent credential required.
• MRCP or equivalent qualification required.
• GMC registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver haemato-oncology care with a focus on myeloma at Clatterbridge and inpatient/outpatient work.
• Provide outpatient and consultative haemato-oncology at Aintree site (LUHFT) one day a week.
• Lead and contribute to clinical trials and research activities.
• Help deliver integrated haemato-oncology services across Clatterbridge and Aintree.
• Participate in on-call commitments and teaching/innovation in plasma cell disorders.
• Undertake formal laboratory sessions if desired within the job plan.
